Hinton Estate Vineyard
Hinton's is the cellar door of Central Otago's Hinton Estate Vineyard. Plantings in the vineyard began in 1997 on a hilly site ideally suited to Pinot Noir, which is the predominant variety. Since then, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Merlot and Viogner have been added. More about Hinton Estate Vineyard
Winemaker Howie Hinton has worked closely with several international winemakers to produce some outstanding Pinot Noirs. To compliment the Hinton Estate varieties on the wine list , Howie has personally selected a number of other wines from around New Zealand, which are available under the Hinton Hill Country label.
